Let us pray for Nepal & Tibet Flood Victims & everyone affected.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up every person affected by the devastating floods in Nepal and Tibet, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, background, or where they call home.
Lord, You know every person by name. You know those who are missing, those who are injured, those who are stranded, those who have been displaced, and those who are desperately searching for their loved ones. We ask You to be near to every one of them.
Father, we pray for the people of Nepal and Tibet, as well as foreign nationals, travelers, tourists, expatriates, migrant workers, aid workers, and visitors from every country who have been caught in this disaster. Protect those who are still alive and in danger. Guide rescuers to those who are missing. Open paths where there seem to be none, and bring people to safety.
Lord, we especially pray for those who remain missing. Be with them wherever they are. Give them strength to survive, protect them from further danger, and guide rescue teams to find them. Give their families courage as they wait and hope for news. When uncertainty becomes unbearable, hold them close and give them Your peace.
We pray for all those who have died, both local people and foreigners. We remember every life that has been lost—every mother, father, son, daughter, husband, wife, brother, sister, friend, colleague, traveler, worker, and stranger whose life has been cut short. May their families and loved ones receive comfort and strength in the midst of unimaginable grief.
Father, comfort families who are grieving across Nepal, Tibet, and around the world. Some may be mourning from nearby villages; others may be thousands of miles away, unable to reach their loved ones. Be especially near those waiting for confirmation about someone missing. Give them strength for every phone call, every search, every difficult journey, and every painful moment.
We pray for those who have been injured or traumatized. Bring healing to their bodies and peace to their minds. Provide doctors, nurses, medicines, shelter, food, clean water, and everything necessary for their recovery.
Lord, protect and strengthen the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, rescue teams, emergency responders, firefighters, medical teams, volunteers, humanitarian organizations, local communities, guides, drivers, pilots, and everyone involved in the rescue and relief efforts. Give them wisdom, courage, endurance, and protection as they work in dangerous conditions. Help them find survivors and recover those who have died with dignity and respect.
We pray for government officials and leaders in Nepal, Tibet, and every country whose citizens have been affected. Give them wisdom, compassion, integrity, and urgency. Help governments communicate accurate information, coordinate rescue operations, support affected families, and ensure that assistance reaches everyone who needs it.
Father, we pray especially for embassies, consulates, foreign governments, airlines, travel organizations, and international agencies working to locate missing foreign nationals, identify those who have died, reunite families, and help survivors return home. Give them clarity and compassion as they deal with families facing unbearable uncertainty.
Lord, where there is fear, bring peace.
Where there is despair, bring hope.
Where there is confusion, bring clarity.
Where there is grief, bring comfort.
Where there is danger, bring protection.
Where there is loss, provide what is needed.
Where there are people still missing, guide the rescuers to them.
We ask You to protect communities from further flooding, landslides, disease, and additional loss of life. Give strength to those rebuilding homes, roads, bridges, hospitals, schools, and communities.
Lord Jesus, You taught us to love our neighbor without distinction. Help us remember that in times of disaster, every human life is precious. May people from different nations, cultures, and backgrounds come together with compassion and generosity.
We place every victim, every survivor, every missing person, every deceased person, every grieving family, every foreign national and their loved ones, every rescue worker, every soldier, every police officer, every volunteer, every medical worker, and every government leader into Your hands.
You are the God who sees those who are suffering and hears those who cry out to You.
May Your presence surround Nepal and Tibet. May You strengthen those who are suffering, protect those still in danger, guide those searching, comfort those grieving, and give courage to all who are serving.
