26and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
Hi my name is Janice from Christ Unite. Today 3rd of January 2023 I will be talking on this devotion on John chapter 11 verse 25th to 26, let me read today’s verse. Jesus said to her I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes In me will never die. Do you believe this?”
I like to share with you what I see yesterday when I was walking in the park. Yesterday I saw a tree a dry tree with only a few leaves in it. This tree I have being observing for the past few days. It’s a very dry tree, it looks like it’s going to die. I was wondering “Will it live?” But do you know something, God show me that He can turn this tree from dead to life.
Yesterday, when I was walking at park and I saw this this tree, the tree actually sprout into life with a lot of leaves growing on it. So He actually turned from a bad tree with very few leaves a dry tree to lots of leaves growing on it in just two days in this two days of the New Year first and second of January. I was amazed about this sight.
When I look at this tree turning from dead to life, it reminds me of what God saying in today’s verse, that he is the resurrection and life, whoever believes in him will live and he will never dies.
What amazing God he is in, showing him what he meant with this tree. To us too and in this new year.
I believe this is the message that he wants to speak to all of us today to actually trust in him and especially to those who have not believe in him yet that he can actually give you a new life.

Dearest Jesus Christ, thank you for letting me seeing this tree to show me that you can turn it from dead to life. Thank you for your reminder that you are the resurrection and life. Anyone who believes in you will live even though he or she dies. Whoever believes in you will never die. May those who have not believe in you yet trust that you can turn things around and bring life back to them. May all of us Christian always trust in you in our difficult situation, we live. We will never die.
