John 17:1-5 (NIV)
1After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed:
2“Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him.
3Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
4I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.
5And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.
Prayer
Dearest Heavenly Father,
Please Lord allow me to work while I am still in earth to bring you glory, bring people to me through work so I can tell them about you and your son Jesus Christ that they may know you are the only true God, 1 and only God and they will know it is through you that they can have eternal life. Please, my Father open the door ways for me to work and be useful, fruitful. Let me have a meaningful work that I will enjoy doing glorifying you. I won’t be proud like in my past any more. All achievement comes from you. You are to be glorify. Let me be able to work and travel again meeting many people. Use me for your glory. When is time for me to be with you in heaven, may you find me pleasing with what I have work in earth. May you accept me.
